During his midnight patrol, he finds mischievous boy Sonic, but at the same time, he senses a demon. Ever since it happened, this has become a habit. I know she will never read them, but I hope she knows I still think about her all the time. I hope, somehow, that she can see how sorry I am. I wait for the day when I will see her again, the day I can tell her everything and show her how sorry I am for not being there when it mattered. In the meantime, I keep writing these letters to Olivia.

Power has a price. No Half Bloods know this better than the Lifs and Lifthrasirs, possessing the power of Yggdrasil itself, able to manipulate the dimensions of Life and Death throughout all 9 Realms. The price? These Heroes outlive all Mortals, their only choice for happiness is to curse their beloved with a "Blessed Apple" derived from the famed immortal apples Iduna guards, trapping their loved ones in a land where they are never able to leave while the Heroes barely age over the millennia they spend adventuring among the 9 Realms. As if that isn't cruel enough, Odin revealed a terrible Prophecy - Ragnarok, the final battle of all Mortal, Ethereal and Incorporeal beings where the Cycle of Immortality itself will end, killing beings who have never died with a Lif and Lifthrasir playing pivotal roles in those events. The Patrons of Old established the Accords - a treaty setting terms for all future Lifs and Lifthrasirs. Forced to train as Warriors and sacrifice their freedom, they serve under the Guardians, the council of members from all 9 Realms who designate missions so that their powers are shared equally, an agreement that has kept the peace for almost a million years but, as Odin himself revealed, all things come to an end. Nothing spells disaster like the Blazing Spear of Blood, created by Ymir from the root of Yggdrasil connected to Hel, capable of devouring anything with its cursed flames. Stolen by Xerxes the Red King, it has been stored in Ubhal Òir under the Lifs for millions of years, much to the chagrin of the Jotuns who now act as if it never existed. But it isn't forgotten. Someone is desperate to steal it and Comharrachadh Beatha is the perfect opportunity as most of the Guardians are on vacation enjoying the Tournament of Heroes where the Realms best Warriors come together on peaceful terms to battle each other. Treachery runs thick behind the celebrations as evil looks for an opportunity to rule again.

"If there was one thing that could throw this town on its head, of course it'd be the goddamned McKenzie house." The McKenzie house stood tall and proud, its walls worn down by time and weather. It sat with windows boarded and shutters closed, with doors locked and a porch full of holes. It was still for sale, but nobody in their right minds would buy it. First it lost its family, then its charm, and finally its power. For the past two decades, the house stood overlooking Weary Ranch, cold and dark and desolate. On one cold September morning, the citizens of Weary Ranch woke up to alarming news: all the lights were on in the McKenzie house. Thanks to @trevor_davis and @apruplebird for beta reading. What would you do to disappear? What would you give up in order to start over? Popularity, your adoring best friend, the hottest guy in school? That is exactly what Lolita gives up when she goes missing. Why would the girl who seems to have everything give it all up? Disappear, just like that. Lolita and Amy are best friends who write a popular teen blog together. One day Amy's life is turned upside down when her whirlwind of a best friend goes missing. Join Amy on her hunt for Lolita and discover her secrets on the way. 'I was dead. Or as far as everyone knew I was. Everything worked like clockwork; just as I planned; people are predictable, aren't they?' - Lolita, That Girl. Author's note below- Thank you for taking a chance on 'Girls Astray'. It's a story close to my heart as it deals with mental health, which is a subject that I think people need to have more conversations about. This is a first draft so it's a flawed and a little incomplete here and there. (Much like myself it's a work in progress). If you enjoy it (which I hope you will) please comment and vote. Also I love feedback, feedback is my friend. ? Cover by the talented @annie-Joyce This story came third place in The Teen Fiction awards ❤️

Marigold's plan was perfect: Throw the stone, make her voice heard, get away clean, prove her devotion to Daniel and his cause, get kissed by Daniel, marry Daniel, spend the rest of her life fighting the monarchy with Daniel. What could go wrong? Nothing could go wrong. She knew exactly what she was getting into. She had accounted for everything. She wasn't going to get caught. It didn't even cross her mind that she'd get caught. How could she get caught by a bunch of lazy guards in stiff, ornamental uniforms? She wouldn't get caught. There was no need for her to think about what would happen if she was caught. No need to consider the possible punishments or consequences of her failure. No need to worry about what it'd do to her family, or how the denizens would treat her. No need to worry about what Daniel would do if she got caught. Cover by @diprox
