You know, there are times when just the leaves on a tree invoke a few lines. Or, at times, it is experience. It is these thoughts that give birth to poetry. So here's a random compilation of chosen poems written by me from the age of 12 to 17.
My first shot at romantic poetry. Hope you enjoy. I'm not a cardiologist, but I'd love to touch your heart. Please let me know in the comments if I was successful in doing so.
people write about things that do not happen.
they will romanticize this world in hopes of filling themselves up.
they write like their words are food.
but i have
always written to empty myself
completely.
i
will romanticize
feeling nothing.

I believe one of the greatest gifts of all is to be able to express oneself through poems - compromising your own personal emotions and words that speak your heart.
To be able to share a vulnerable side of me with people I've never met in person, I dare say, is a form of bravery in itself.
Thanks for reading Essence Of Blue.
