അഭി വന്നിട്ട് രണ്ടു ആഴ്ച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞു, എന്നിട്ടും എന്നോട് ഒരു അടുപ്പവും ഇല്ലാ. കണ്ടിട്ട് രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂർ പോലും ആയിട്ടില്ല എന്നിട്ടു ഗംഗേച്ചിയോടു മിണ്ടുന്നേ കണ്ടോ? അഹങ്കാരി... അല്ലേൽ തന്നെ എനിക്ക് എന്താ ഇയാള്‌ മിണ്ടിയില്ലേൽ.... ഗൗരി എന്തിനാ ഇങ്ങനെ എന്നേ നോക്കുന്നേ.... ഗംഗയോട് ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നേ ഗൗരിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമല്ലേ ആവൊ?എങ്ങനെയെങ്കിലും രണ്ടു മാസം ഒന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞു തിരിച്ചു ദുബായിലേക്ക് പോയാൽ മതിയാരുന്നു ഗൗരീടെ അടുത്തു നിന്നും...... ............................................. ആരെ കുറിച്ച് ഓർക്കരുതെന്നു വിചാരിക്കുന്നുവോ, അയാളേക്കുറിച്ചു ഓർക്കാതെ ഒരു ദിവസം പോലും കടന്നു പോകാൻ പറ്റുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അത് പ്രണയം.... ആരുടെ അടുത്തു നിന്നു അകലാൻ ശ്രെമിക്കുന്നുവോ,വിധി അയാളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് തന്നെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കൊണ്ട് എത്തിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവിടെയാണ് ജീവിതം....

"What are you doing?" അവൻ ചോദ്യഭാവത്തിൽ എന്നെ നോക്കി. "നീ ഇന്നലെ എന്റെ കാൽ മുറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ എന്തു ചെയ്തോ അത് തന്നെ..." ഇതും പറഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കൈ തട്ടി മാറ്റി. എന്തു പറ്റി എന്നറിയില്ല. പിന്നീട് അവൻ ഒന്നും പറയാതെ നല്ല കുട്ടിയായി ഇരുന്നു തന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അത്ഭുതത്തോടെ അവനെ നോക്കി. "ഓക്കെ done..." ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നെറ്റിയിലും കയ്യിലും വൃത്തിയിൽ ബാൻഡേജ് ഒട്ടിച്ച ശേഷം തിരിഞ്ഞു ഡോറിനടുത്തെക്കു നടക്കാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞതും കൃഷ് പെട്ടന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചു എന്നെ തടഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ എന്റെ കയ്യിലും അവന്റെ മുഖത്തേക്കും മാറി മാറി നോക്കി. "You forgot something" "Huh!!" ഞാൻ ഒന്നും മനസ്സിലാവാതെ അവനെ നോക്കി. "ഇത്..." എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു അവൻ ഞാൻ ഒട്ടിച്ച രണ്ടു ബാൻഡേജും തിരിച്ചു പറിച്ചു എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നെ തന്നു.
