It follows the life of a merman named Yuelo who will try to live on the land to achieve his mission to assassinate the person whom he believes is the reason for the destruction of their home under the sea. The name Yuelo literally means Moon. This is the name given to him being born under the full moon. Being so, it was believed that Yuelo will bring bad luck to their race since it is very seldom that a merman is born during full moon.
