Charlie Whitmen loves sports, junk food, video games, cars and basically anything-if not everything-your average teenaged boy would find interesting. But wait a second, Charlie isn't even a boy! Oh no, she's actually a girl! Bet you didn't see that one coming, did you? Assumptions are never pretty. Like a wise man once said: "Don't assume, because when you do, you make an ass out of u and me." thank you soooo much to dirtypalette for the beautiful cover <3

Philophobia (n) : the abnormal, persistent and unwarranted fear of falling in love. This affects the quality of life and pushes a person away from commitment. It is most common in females than males because they are specifically told not to pursue love. Most of the time they are set up for arranged marriages and / or forced marriages by the family who believes that the candidate of one's choice isn't good enough for them and that they should marry the person that has already been selected for them. The worst aspect of philophobia is that it keeps a person trapped in solitude.

Growing up in a large, middle-class (if not lower) family had its challenges. More than I can account for actually. I had five older sisters and two older brothers. Throw me into the mix and that's a grand total of eight children living under one roof. If my mom hadn't stopped with yours truly, we would have definitely been able to form an entire soccer team with just our family alone. I can't recall much of my childhood and exactly how I interacted with each and every one of my siblings, but I can assure you that it was nowhere near a nice walk through the park. Even until this very day, I still stand by my statement. This is a story about a broken girl who fools the world with one simple action which requires less than ten muscles. Then along comes a boy who knows very well what really lies behind that smile. thank you soooo much to dirtypalette for the beautiful cover <3
