After the death of her mother, 16 year old Rosalie is sent to live with her father in Bondi in Australia. Loosing a parent is hard in any circumstance, but when you were forced to handle abuse at the hands of your stepfather then witness your mother's murder, it was bound to take its toll. How will Rosalie cope dealing with the many issues she will face, whilst being thrown head first into the lives of several lifeguards who are all insistent on helping her feel at home? (I have rated it as mature as there may be mentions of violence and self-mutilation.)
