الهدوء يضُمر بالمكان.. الطرق الندية بالقطرات المطرية الصغيرة تقحم نفسها بالطريق، تطير تلك الورقة الصغيرة المهترئة، متآكلة الأطراف.. لتهوى على الأرض المستوية للطريق الفارغ. سرعان ما يبرز كيانًا أسود ضئيل فى نهاية الطريق، يركض بسرعة عالية مسابقًا الرياح بأقصى ما لديه، يقترب أكثر فأكثر.. ليظهر الشعر الطويل الذى إنسدل على ظهر الراكض -أو الراكضة، إن أردنا الدقة. يظهر شعرها جليًا، رغم ذلك القناع القماشي الذي يخفي معالم وجهها، وقفت فى منتصف الطريق ملتفةً من حولها ريثما تحاول إرتشاف أنفاسها التى خُطفت جراء ركوضها المتتابع. رفعت يدها أمام عيناها محملقةً بهذا العقد الذى أخذ يبرق تحت أحد أعمدة الإنارة المستكينة على جانبي الطريق.. ومضت عيناها بحركة خاطفةٍ قبل أن تعاود ركضها بسرعة أكبر، مارةً على الوريقة التى هوت فى الرياح مرة أخرى فتظهر معالم تلك الوريقة جيدًا. لقد كان إعلانًا لأحد أكثر السارقين طلبًا فى المملكة، و إن بدا قديمًا -أى مر عليه وقت دون نجاح ملموس. صورة صغيرة طُلت بلون أسود كُتبت أسفلها جملة واحدة بخط واضح..
