In the second part of The Dragon Trainer's Tale trilogy, Kira and her companions continue on their journey through the war-ravaged land of Daranall. Along with her old friends, she has now been joined by her long-lost cousin, Tiberius. With danger lurking on every side, Kira begins to be unsure of who she can really trust.
