My version of Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, City of Heavenly Fire, the last book. I love all her books, and so I decided, why not write a fan-fiction? It starts around a week after City of Lost Souls. Here is a short intro to the book: At last, Jace has escaped from the clutches of Sebastian and is reunited with Clary. But with Sebastian still out there, plotting something new to destroy the Shadowhunter world, no one is safe. On top of that imminent threat, Jace glows with a Heavenly Fire nobody seems to be able to cure; Alec is heartbroken; Maureen, the rogue vampire and her clan have allied with Sebastian; and turmoil stirs among the Clave. Can Clary and the Shadowhunters, along with her best friend Simon, keep the Shadow World from falling apart? Will love be their salvation or destruction?
