Eden has been juggling work and home life, or more like drowning in it, and is in a constant struggle with the tight budget that is being washed away by his mother's drinking problem. Yet, Eden yearns for more as he gets to know Malcolm. He desires for the witch to be more than his lawyer, despite how detrimental it could be for his brother's case. Love is worth the risk, after all, right? Sadly, Malcolm might not see things the same way, looking at the bigger picture, not wanting to cost those around him the career he has built all for his own selfish wishes. But, in the end, there is something far worse at play, lurking beneath the shadows, waiting for the right moment to pounce... waiting for the right opportunity to dredge up the agony within Eden's heart once again.

After Vorona stabbed Izaya during his fight with Shizuo, he was taken far away from Ikebukuro to see an underground doctor to treat his wounds if he survived. Kine and Manami went back to their lives after hearing Izaya was alive. Shizuo, Shinra, Celty, and others assumed the self proclaimed "god" had died and went on to live their 'normal' lives. (I do not own any of the characters, only the plot of the story!)

After years of fighting, Izaya decides he is no longer interested in playing with Shizuo. He decides to go out and tell the 'brute' just that so hopefully, they can move on with their lives. Unfortunately, Shizuo misunderstood! He thinks Izaya doesn't want to fight him because the 'flea' is in love with him. Shizuo resolves to become closer to Izaya, while the unknowing informant is taken aback by the change.

That's it. They had it to the last straw. And now his parents wants him to go back home. Mikado has to find a way to escape the impossible or else his identity as the Dollars leader would be exposed.
