Taylor wants to be a vampire hunter. She has dreamed about fighting crime and slaying demons ever since she was little. But she is simply told by all the world that it is a role fit for men. When she invites a feisty vampire hunter into her room one night - who tells her that she can make Taylor's dreams come true - Taylor believes that it's a gift sent from the heavens above. But Karlie is hiding something. She refuses to stay outside without her cloak. She disappears on Taylor for days without explanation. She has an obsessive liking to warmth and body heat.
