She's always found the idea of a superhero more troubling than ever. Instead of traveling around, Sylvia spends her days helping Nurse Joy heal Pokémon, but that will soon change the day she actually faces Team Miasma for the first time. Now, Sylvia must make a choice: stay with the life she knows or become an Unova superhero like Braviary Man to stop Team Miasma because they will stop at nothing until they've reached their goals. Events that reveal what is causing the unseasonal cold, and what chills the wind may carry in the near future. Peace was a façade. Peace, defined as a state of tranquility or quiet, was a word sloppily plastered on to the face of the Pokémon World. Peace is a lie, just as everything else on this miserable planet. Mystery Dungeons multiply, legendary Pokémon abandon their guardianship over the Territories, and Pokémon fatalities increase exponentially under this deceptive word, "Peace". The heroes of the Territories have conquered their foes, reigning above all others with a glorious title. Their exploits of defeating otherworldly foes granted them a status so high, turmoil never reaches their ears. They're either so mighty that the cries for help fall of deaf ears, or their assassins have planted them deep within the soil. Nia's eyes are not strong enough to see truth. Her life started the instant she found herself bound to a tree in the middle of an unrecognizable forest, armed only with her name and extensive knowledge on any Pokémon she could fathom. As the Pokémon of Deception, her journey is plagued with prejudice and stereotypes. Tasked with a hopeless fate, her path is not an easy one, but she must atone for her past. She must quell the demons inside her. Her destiny is one for her to travel alone, and a lonely one it is indeed.

The Bicycle: a key item in the Pokémon World that makes overland travel faster than running. There are specific roads tailored to it in the Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions. Between all the other festivities, one region hosts the event no one ever hears about: the annual Cycling Cup. Taking place on the sloping course of the accommodating region, it's the one meeting a year between two of the so-called cycling and engineer kings in the Pokémon World: Rydel and Rad Rickshaw. This year marks the ten year anniversary of the Cycling Cup. With a new, prodigious rival competitor from the previous year, it's anyone's guess on the winner. Everything is on the line to determine this year's ruler of cycling in the Pokémon World. Because you don't have to be a Pokémon Master to be a champion. Dear Diary, Sometimes, chasing dreams causes people to do some crazy things. The chase for knowledge can lead to another chase, then another, then another. Sometimes, you just have to know when to give up, or risk losing it all. The end result is sometimes worth it, that is, until you realize you're still missing puzzle pieces. No matter how fast you run, how clever you are, or how hard you believe in yourself, the finish line will always slip away.
