Sam's in his second semester at Stanford, things are going well. He's adapted, made some friends and is near the top of his class. Life is perfect, no monsters, no motels and everything makes sense. He's finished the first of his midterms and is resting under a tree when he overhears something about people getting their heart ripped out, and not by an ex either. Can he stop the monster and still maintain his life at school? Is it really his responsibility now? He has only one shot at Stanford, will he risk it all to step back into the family business.

This is going to be graphic, we all know what they are planning for Season 10 so I am bringing my dark A-game here. Dean is a Demon, he's going out to play. This is starting after the end of Season 9. Demon Dean sees things in a new way, no consequences, no loyalties, no family. He likes it that way but he knows that Sam won't exactly be won over to this new point of view. Sam is his only real threat, no one knows him better. The First Blade is singing to him and what better way to cut ties with his old life than to truly cut ties. Sam knows just how far gone Dean is and he knows that following the patterns from the past will only get him killed. Dean is a Knight of Hell and has become the monster that they have always hunted. Saving Dean may not be an option but Sam's not quite ready to give up just yet. The files of the exiled Men of Letters member Magnus gives him an insane idea. Hello all. I am doing Endure For Kindness to raise money for Random Acts http://www.therandomact.org/events/endure4kindness/ which, if you are a SPN fan I assume you know, is a charity that Misha Co-founded. My goal is to write approx 16000 words Sunday 10/19 8 am to 9pm. I felt that since both Misha and Cas have endured homelessness I wanted to write something exploring that from Cas's eyes. Things are going well, until her weekly chess partner eye's shine under the street lights and she starts having prophetic dreams of a arachnid induced plague. As much as she wants to run, something tells her she's the only one that can do anything to stop it.

(Author's Note. This is for Sophie, her birthday is coming up and she loves Cas. I was asked to write a short story for her. So here goes. ) This will be a standalone story and a bit different from my usual style. There is no specific place in the show's timeline when it occurs. Cas has been working on his social skills in an attempt to blend better with humans. One cold winter day he comes across Sophie, a human desperately in need of an angel in her life.

Running Coyote is a hunter, she's also a Lakota Sioux Shaman in Training who can perceive things most people can't. She used to roam the country doing jobs like most hunters but for the last three years has stayed closer to home in South Dakota. Her and the brothers worked a few jobs together over the years but she mainly stays in touch with Bobby to keep up to date on hunter news. When spiraling black shadows converged on a Healing Ceremony her tribe was performing and two days later two of her friends committed a horrific murder she called Bobby who told her to call Sam and Dean. (FYI IF YOU LOVE COYOTE SHE COMES BACK IN A FRESH START, However you should probably read all the SPN/Arrow Xovers before that one or you will be confused.) (Author's note: I have been doing research to make sure what I say about Lakota Sioux beliefs, ceremonies and their lives is accurate. If I miss something or misrepresent something I apologize in advance. I mean no disrespect. I had an idea to have Sam and Dean come face to face with a belief system that they were not used to operating in. There is a love scene in here. Kids you've been warned. Running Coyote is a woman in her late twenties and is not your typical anything. I hope you enjoy. ) (Author's note part 2: This turned into some of the smoothest, most efficient, well paced writing I have done to date I think. I've written my first love scene, combined Native American rituals with the already richly diverse mythological world of Supernatural, explored a side of Dean Winchester you don't get to see even though it's there. Holy crap I am fricking proud of all of that because I know when I write the next original work it will all shine through.)
