Cadmus was over, the remains of the evil organization was being overseen by Guardian to create a kinder, more gentle research facility instead of the whacko science experiment Desmond made it. He had lots to do, way too much actually, so when a little G-Gnome is begging for his attention he, thinking a little distraction might do him some good, explores a different part of Sub-Level 52. He finds a whole new experiment with the violital substance known as Xenothium and the boy they imbued with its properties. Now Guardian has one too many problems and his first decision is to contact the Justice League. I own nothing but the plot and the cover! The Light was looking for a child, a child who they could train to become their ultimate weapon, one with enough potential that it could, with training, bring the entire Justice League to their knees. Finally, they found the perfect candidate to fulfill their ambitions. They would break Richard Grayson and in turn, he would break the Justice League.

Dick Grayson has been living on the streets since he can remember. The thing is... he doesn't remember much. Three years have passed since he first woke up in a hospital and started stealing and co-operating with some 'bad guys' to stay alive. He discovered he had a special ability. He has 'information' on certain people, he knows who/ what the ones around him are and who has to be eliminated. On top of all that, a huge bunch of weird people are after him and one of them is the Big Bad Bat. Dealing with amnesia and panic attacks he's not the safest person to be around. Will he ever discover his past or will everything about his existence stay forgotten? No one knows. Well, other than the fact that Bruce is working all day trying to find out who was the mysterious source who got him arrested in the first place. Things then get harder for the Dark Knight as the media finds out that the criminal Tony Zucco has escaped from prison.
