Der Polizei ist es einfach nicht möglich, Genaueres über Sangsters Schaffen und seine Motive herauszubekommen. Captain Lowe, oberster Kommissar des NYPD, steht vor einem Labyrinth an Irrwegen und Sackgassen. Als seine Tochter Aoife eines Nachts von Sangster und seiner Gang vor einer höchst unschönen Begegnung mit ein paar Straßenräubern gerettet wird, erkennt er ihren Wert und unterbreitet ihr ein Angebot. Aoife wird in einen Bandenkrieg gezogen, der sich gewaschen hat, und zum ersten Mal in ihrem Leben sieht sie der Gefahr direkt ins Auge. Die Frage ist nun, ob es ihr gelingt, sowohl Pflicht als auch ihre persönliche Vendetta unter einen Hut zu bringen, ohne alles zu verlieren, dass ihr lieb ist.

Anfangs bemerkte man sie nicht. Sie fielen nie groß auf und hinterließen wenig Spuren. Doch nach einem Monat sind in ganz New York City bekannt und gefürchtet. Zeugen verlieren ihr Gedächtnis oder sterben, wie die anderen Opfer. Während die Sangster Gangster ihr Unwesen treiben, nimmt die fünfzehnjährige Ruby Mendley das alles nicht so ernst. Warum auch? Sie war einer von vielen Menschen, die ein normales Leben führten. Die Chance, dass sich ihr Weg mit dem der Sangster Gangster kreuzte, war geringer, als von einem Blitz getroffen zu werden. Pech für Ruby, dass sie durch einen Mix aus Zufällen und ihrer Dämlichkeit direkt in den Armen des Anführers landet. * * * Ich habe schon mehrere Sangster -Gangster Geschichten gelesen und dachte mir ,,Mina! Das probierst du jetzt auch mal aus!" Und da ich Thomas Sangster "mag", bekommt er die Rolle des Obergangsters *applaudiert*. Ihr könnt sie aber auch lesen, wenn ihr den ihn nicht kennt. Stellt euch einfach den Typen aus eueren Feuchtträumen vor (warum kann ich solche Dinge nicht zurückhalten?) Ich habe die Story früh angefangen, sie erst vor kurzem unter meinen 3627 Entwürfen entdeckt und sie schließlich aufgepeppelt. Würdigt das gefälligst!
