The more he dies, the more powerful he is. The more painful the death, the more emotionless he becomes. Quirk exhaustion comes in the form of emotional loss. Only natural reactions and natural responses will remain after 300 deaths. That number came a lot sooner than it should have. And that's what ( Y/n ) wanted, for people to leave him alone, to not disrupt the peace around him, the quiet surrounding not mixed with their annoying voices. That's all he could ever wish for.
