Wishes are just like curses and if witches are born from them magical girls are too. This story is about Yume Takamori who just wants to fit in. Recently she's been having a recurring dream about would she trade in her life and soul for a wish if it could be anything. Yume always wakes up before she can answer though. As she searches for an answer she and her friends meet Kyubey a magical creature who can grant any wish in the world but they will need to be willing to die for this wish. During their journey to find a wish the meet other well known magical girls who may be able to help.
