The Bad Boy and The Tomboy is now published as a Wattpad Book! As a Wattpad reader, you can access both the Original Edition and Books Edition upon purchase. Nicknames, a love of soccer, and school rumors are all the bad boy and the tomboy have in common. But if they give each other a chance, will they find something more? ***** Seventeen-year-old Macy Anderson is a tomboy that plays soccer, hangs with the guys, can't stand girls (except her best friend Jasmine) and doesn't know who Sam Cahill is. But when the pair unexpectedly meet, everything goes downhill from there. Because Sam Cahill is the school's bad boy, known for skipping classes and getting into trouble. Not to mention his cocky attitude, British accent, and magnetic charm, which seems to work on all the girls -- except Macy, who has a rule not date in high school. But when Sam starts showing her his moves (on and off the soccer field), Macy begins to see a different guy under the leather-clad exterior. Will that be enough to convince her that he's the one guy worth breaking the rules for? [[Word count: 300,000 - 350,000 words]] [[2015 Watty Winner]] All Rights Reserved- ©nikki20038

"A wedding is a funeral where you smell your own flowers." - Eddie Cantor. In The Bad Beginning, Al Funcoot's "The Marvelous Marriage" is vaguely described, since it is written for a length of three acts and is described by Mr. Snicket as "a dreadful play and of no real importance". In addition, two productions shared abridged versions of the tale, one in 2004 and one in 2017. Finally, after years and years of searching, the original, unabridged, and slightly oxidized (a word meaning papers of a book turning yellow due to the exposure of lignin to air and sunlight) manuscript has been brought to the public for the use of reading and performing, with the help of two archeological professors, three literature scholars, an unfriendly refrigerator repair man, a helpful real estate agent, and an architect in training. In 19th Century France, war hero Count Amadeus de Chevalier has just proposed to the love of his life, Lady Madeline Bellrose, a unique and intelligent woman. However the Count's fiendish and sinister rival, Baron Johan von Whesterstein of Germany, plots to ruin the Count's reputation and plot the conquest of Europe, with the help of his underground criminal network scattered across Europe, Asia, and Africa. With the help of his love Madeline, his idiotic sidekick Lt. Claude d'Blague, American Navy cadet Lucas Seyler, British Judge Margaret Sadoc, and his trusty steed Maurice, the Count will stop at nothing to defend France and the rest of Europe from this heinous villain while trying to balance the average issues of planning a wedding any normal person would have to deal with. Containing all three unabridged acts, very fitting descriptions, clips from certain parts, photos, the original casting, author commentary, and a foreword from the director, readers can enjoy reading and reenact the great and famous incognito play that is the Marvelous Marriage!
