Story behind the story - We were supposed to write a one-page essay in English class one day about something funny or scary that happened to us. My life is boring so I went fiction. Do YoU wAnT tO kNoW wHaT i DiD??? I TURNED IT INTO A THREE-PAGED STORY. So yeah.... I'll be including an expansion (different person's POV from the person who actually had the experience, meaning the only thing that my teacher got to read was the text on the screen [you'll understand what I mean when I finish it]) and the teacher's note from when she FINALLY got to read it. =) Enjoy

Antonio Perfecto is just a teenager in Starite City, which hugs the west coast of North America. He hasn't exactly had a pleasant childhood, and even now he lives on the streets with his friend Amaia Reyez and their adult caretaker, Kurt Danger. But there lives are turned upside down when Antonio discovers the Nova Realm, and the the world's biggest manufacturing corporation, Networth Incorporated, just became their number one enemy...

Rachel panted, trying to control herself as waves of pain spread through her collar bone. A tear streaked her cheek, but she viciously wiped it away before it could hit the ground. She wasn't going to cry. She pushed herself up, holding her bleeding shoulder as she looked off to where it had gone. Don't worry, she assured herself, you'll never have to see it again. ♦️ ♦️ ♦️ Other than the fact that her dad is a cryptid tracker for the government, Rachel's life is pretty normal. She goes to high school, has a friend, baby-sits every Saturday, plays the cello... Pretty normal. But one night when her dad gets attacked by two cryptids who have been known to kill, she swears to avenge him. She captures one of them, but in the end lets it go. Rachel's not too sure why, but she finds it and starts taking care of it, trying to nurse its broken leg back to health while also trying to find and appease the other. Now with two cryptids on her hands as well as a toxic relationship, her only friend that is drifting apart, and a strange bond with one of the creatures that just keeps growing, she must try to protect the cryptids as well as keep her sanity. Honestly, I'm not sure how much I want to finish this story. Looking back at all the sad things that I've written, I think they were just me healing emotionally. For a couple years now my friends have been talking bad about themselves, and so I was kind of writing sad stories to tell people that they're not alone. But, I'm okay now, so I don't think I'm going to be finishing this. I will be writing happier more Christian books. Cause honestly, I need to get back to my old self.

There's going to be a lot of weird creatures in this book, and some of them might make you ask "Why?", but I think they're cool. Some of these will also contain my book characters :) I'm slowly getting better at using digital art, and coloring, and yada yada yada this is boring here we go.
