Soulmate AU For your childhood, you live a normal life. With parents, with friends, with those little markings on the wall that tell you how tall you are, how much you've grown. But, that all stops at age 18. Once you turn 18, you stop aging, growing. Years can go by, and you look as though not a day has passed. That is, until you find your soulmate. When you find your soulmate, you begin to age once more. Growing old only once you've found the one your heart truly belongs to, and you age together. Some never stop growing, having known their soulmate since they were small; yet others wait for centuries, hoping that one day, they might finally find the one for them. Roman is a prince from the Renaissance, and after waiting almost a thousand years, is losing hope that he'll ever find his princess. Virgil is a young musician, who did have a boyfriend, and Virgil loved him very dearly. But one day, his boyfriend left, as he begun to age when he met a barista at a coffee shop. Virgil has despised soulmates since. Patton is the boyfriend of a young lady, as he found he was half an inch taller a day after he met her. He tells his roommate of 3 weeks all about her. Logan moved to LA for his PhD, not at all looking for his soulmate. He's never been interested in love, as the longer he can stay on this earth, the more knowledge he can obtain, and knowledge is really all he cares about.
