After a poorly made decision, Cody and his closest friends are forced to seek help from the gryphon's family. For a time, Cody learns secrets about the dragons and Dragon Warriors that not even Heyrone and Argos know and learns to become one of their race. But when the time comes for battle, Cody and his friends have difficulty choosing who and what they believe in, and who and what they will fight for.
