Westcallin Keep is divided into two parts: dark and light; Nightly and Knightly; good and bad; fear and love. When Duke Knightly's two sons return from a quest, they are met by crowds of adorers, envious shadowmen, and the oldest son by the girl he loves. But they must meet in secret because she is the youngest daughter of Duke Nightly - a love forbidden by birth and family expectations. But soon after he returns, mysterious things start happening in Westcallin Keep. Traces of sorcery are being found and threats have been issued. Has somebody figured out their secret? Can they stop it before it destroys their home? Or is their safest bet to run away and never return?
