Her time in New York City only added to the count but it allowed the woman to heal as she came face to face with an old classmate, Newt Scamander. Old wounds were reopened but were able to begin healing properly as she was able to confront a large part of her past. Returning home, Tegwen is trying to get her life back in order. Living with her fathers until she is ready to get back to work, Tegwen is enjoying the quiet life, allowing Freudrick the Hungry Plant to settle in the gardens, when a familiar face shows up one afternoon. Newt Scamander is back after finishing up his manuscript and he comes with a request. A request for Tegwen to join him on another adventure with an offer she can't refuse.

Hermione, recently divorced and searching for solid ground, needed a safe haven where Ron didn't matter anymore. There were some things in life that even magic couldn't heal and for Zakari Ollivander, being deaf was not something that he wanted to be "healed" of anyways. Never considering himself disabled, Zakari considered himself just to be slightly different growing up. He still enjoyed partaking in activities that other children his age were involved in, even if he had to find his own way to do them. It was a challenge sometimes, but Zakari was always up for a challenge. As the grandson of a famous wandmaker, Zakari's biggest challenge yet would come to the young boy when he receives his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Without knowing him, people were quick to pass their judgement, believing the boy would struggle and calling it a waste of time trying to teach magic to a boy who couldn't hear and hardly spoke. However, Zakari sets himself out to prove that just because he was hard of hearing, didn't mean he didn't have anything to say. It was everyone else around him that needed to learn how to listen.

Her entire 5th year at Hogwarts felt like a cauldron boiling perilously out of control, ready to explode at any given point. So when Hermione catches the Weasley twins scheming their grand escape, she begs them to stay, just for the year.
