This is a collection of poems I've written that simply asks questions. They ask what the world around us really is. They ask if our God is really there. And they ask where is He, when Hell has come to earth. They ask why our loved ones must go through so much pain. They ask of purpose. Curiosity is a dangerous thing. It makes you question. It makes you question your place on this earth, the nation your live in, if something is really meant to be there, and if your religion preaches the truth. For the most dangerous thing this world has ever known, is the curiousity of mankind. Author's Note: I'm aware that some of these are sensitive topics and may bring about arguments and debates about what I'll say. My opinion will tend to shine through on many of my poems. Feel free to post what you think about any topic discussed in the comment section. Love, hugs, and poetry, Miquéla

I feel the breath of air on the back of my neck. My limbs freeze and my breath catches in my throat. The male hands grab me by the hips. I can't move. His lips are by my ear, grazing the skin, his teeth tugging on my earlobe. His breath is hot on my skin, his lips moving down to my neck. My head tilts slightly. I shake my head. He doesn't have a weapon, I do. I turn in his grip, raising my bat. He catches the swing with one hand. He doesn't even flinch. "I wouldn't do that baby." His voice is like velvet, filling up the room. His lips are back on my neck, his tongue trails over the skin. The voice, the lips, are familiar. "You might mess up my pretty face." "Pretty face, my ass." I let the bat drop to the floor in-between the two of us. I should've known. "What are you doing here?" "Besides scaring you shitless?" "You didn't-" "Don't lie, I saw what you did to those poor hangers." *** It's a game of cat and dog. A game that's lasted four years. A game that expires in three short months. It's a battle of wits, of sarcasm, of teasing one liners, of sloppy kisses that may lead to more but nothing passed physical. It's a game with no rules. And they seem to be breaking them all. Thea Shaw and Ethan Michaels have a complicated relationship. One that neither wants to come to an end. But with college nearing and feelings developing what will come of their little game? He promises her one last summer of underage fun; parties, sunsets, long talks, sweet kisses, and no talk of college until it's time to leave. There are only two ways this summer can end. Either in each other's arms or the breaking of their hearts. #4 in New Adult [COMPLETED]

THIS BOOK IS ON AN INDEFINITE HOLD. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. ______________________ Holland was curious. She wanted to know where he went when he got off the bus. It was only one stop away from hers. So she followed him. Rhys could feel her gaze every day. He kept his headphones in and his head ducked. Maybe she'll stop. And then she followed him. That's where this story begins, with the first few moments of what could be an epic love story or a tragic mistake. Maybe it'll even be a little of both.

[COMPLETED] WARNING: I wrote this when I was in high school, which was about seven/eight years ago. That reflects so much in the writing of this book. Best friends Ellie Nichols and Colton Davis were inseparable all their lives. They stuck by each other throughout middle school and high school, all the way until they were accepted into separate colleges. Colton was offered a full scholarship for football while Ellie wanted to stay closer to home at a smaller community college. They had promised to stay in touch, but all promises are made to be broken. They lose contact and the only way Ellie sees her best friend anymore is watching him play on t.v. But all of that changes when Ellie's counselor gives her a big surprise, a letter of acceptance to the same school where Colton plays football. But with Ellie the teams athletic trainer, will it bring her closer to her best friend, or will something come between them? #15 Teen Fiction 9/23/2015
