But what happens when she goes into her best friend's room one day and finds Marinette making out with the famous Cat Noir? How will she react to her best friend and one of Paris's superheroes cheating on their boyfriend/girlfriend? Or, what she thinks is cheating anyway. Three days later, Chloe announced that she and Adrien were official, and it was Marinette's turn to be the brokenhearted mess. Marinette then made a decision that the next time she sees Chat Noir, she will accept his date invitation. Which...will lead them to knowing each others identities behind the mask.

Then, her parents and herself go on a trip to China with the intent of revealing Marinette to the world. Suddenly, the unexpected happens. Marinette's class flew from Paris to Beijing, where her and the palace are, on an educational trip. Her parents told Mari that she would go on this trip as regular Marinette, but her class will eventually meet the royal family. Meaning, they will discover who Marinette truly is.
