Today was it, the day I finally leave this run down town of Gravity Falls, Don't get me wrong the town wasn't as bad as it could be. All my life I was raised to follow in my grunkle Stan's footsteps and run the family Tavern, we never went hungry but that can't be said for the other townsfolk, and I'm sick of it. Not to mention our towns pirate problem where you can barely even step outside with out being jumped and mugged, you'd be considered lucky if you even made it out with broken bones. But that's all going to change for me today, for today's the day I'm leaving the past behind. The large almost menacing ship floated in front of me, large men where carrying cargo onto it getting ready for the voyage ahead. This voyage however was one that some people would call madness for this ship was on an expedition to find a living mermaid. And I Dipper pines plan to be the first to ever capture one.
