The reason for this was, that when he had been six, he had gotten in trouble with his muggle aunt and uncle, and, for the first time, he had actually fought back. It had resulted in him running away from the "safety" of their home, but he didn't care. He didn't care for his so-called family. Especially after he was found by a certain infamous werewolf, who had decided that both muggles and wizards were unfit to care for the boy.
