He caught his father Masaru beating his mother Mitsuki one night. When Masaru left for work the next morning Bakugou asked Mitsuki why dad hitting her. Mitsuki not wanting to keep her son innocent told him that was how their family showed love or attraction to one another. Bakugou and his innocence little mind thought that was how he was supposed to show love to. Kirishima's a Yandere, when he ever did fall in love he would become incredibly obsessed every moment they spent together and every moment they spent apart. He grew up at a orphanage after both his parents committed suicide and went to a school where most of the orphans were bullied for not having parents. He wanted all the bullies to suffer for hurting his friends. Anytime they would get close he would threaten them while going his switch blade tricks or just beat them up. But as he got older his actions became more and more violent, even going so far as hurting his love interests so they couldn't be with anyone else. Even if it was a person that he never met he wouldn't want anyone near them. It was mandatory for all class 1-A students to attend this trip, as it will include hero training. Now this doesn't seem so bad. Just two weeks at the beach, having a fun time with your classmates. Wrong. You were assigned rooms, with roommates. And I'm sure you can guess who Kirishima was paired up with. These were going to be the longest two weeks of the boy's life.
