Odette "Oddey" Empirio, a freshman art major, meets Gage Munro, a sophomore architecture student, by accident. Neither initially realizes they attend the same university, but when they both join the rehearsal for a campus production of *Romeo and Juliet*, they begin spending more time together. Their friendship gradually develops into a romantic relationship. As Odette and Gage grow closer, they uncover a hidden connection between their families tied to a past tragedy. This shared history begins to resurface, creating tension and threatening their relationship.
