Optional sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. (This is a version with *JUST* Tessa's POV (different from the main version, which has 3 POVs. Was my attempt to revise the slower pacing, but I'm not sure how well it worked, but since I put in the work, here it is.) Summary: The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. Excerpt: I braced my feet against the wall as I pulled. Suddenly, the lever swung downward. I lost my grip and tumbled backward. I landed on my side and slid across the counter. My legs and tail flailed as I tried to get to my feet or slow down-but I didn't manage it in time. Almost in slow motion, my feet went off the counter as I slid into the air. Without thinking, my wings popped open and beat hard as I twisted, trying to turn right side up so I could fly properly. I blinked in shock when I realized I was already flying upward. Grinning triumphantly, I beat my wings again and went back to the counter. Pleased with my flying abilities, I proudly landed on the counter - and forgot to slow down, which promptly sent me sliding across the slippery surface, lightly colliding with the glass door. I ducked my head sheepishly, glad no one else had seen that. My eyes locked onto the gap between the glass doors. With an eager grin, I pressed my shoulder against the edge and pushed. My feet struggled to find traction, but it was opening! Once I pushed the door far enough, I scampered over to the cantaloupe. It was much bigger up close. I blinked slowly, trying to think about how I was going to move it. There was no way I'd be able to lift it. It was round though. Round things could roll, right?

Season 4 of The Virus Within Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again. Two brothers learn who each other really are while on an adventure. Who will be king? Can they stop a civil war? Will they find and accept their mates? Could I suck any worse at descriptions?... probably not. Still, I think you should give the story a chance before you disregard it. Story excerpt: "I don't want to be a king. I've never wanted to be king! You know this, Father. Please..." I beg hoping he has another solution. "I see no other option. Look out the window, Ethan. It hasn't even been an hour, and a crowd has gathered at our doors. What do you want me to do? The people love you. The soldiers respect you. The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." Father responds, looking for a battle plan to reign in his own son. "Are you willing to stand up to your mate?" I ask and he shudders before nodding. I've got some work to do.

Disclaimers: The cover is not mine, credit to the original artist. Obviously I also don't own the fandom nor characters, just the plot. Also, the smut is at the very end! The two kings were polar opposites. One blond, with sharp blue eyes, grieving, and closed off from the world. The other dark-haired accented by deep, warm eyes, arms outstretched and open wide. But love can be found in unexpected places and be expressed in unconventional ways. Completed

The third wave is looming, mere weeks away, but in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, problems never come just one at a time. Season 2 of The Virus Within * * * * * Life isn't easy, and that's doubly true when you're a zombie surrounded by humans, a crazy redhead, and a far-too-curious scientist. Once you add in a long-lost sister and a Terror who doesn't know how to zombie, peace and quiet are the last things you'll find. Reports of a Nightstalker attack come mere weeks before the third wave is due, and Trinity is one of the few who have the necessary skills to take on such a zombie. Leaving her sister in the safety of the Stronghold, Trinity joins the rest of the group as they embark on a road trip to locate the feral creature before it can kill anyone else. Trouble looms on the horizon like a thunderstorm, and where there's thunder, there's lightning. You better pack your dish soap because the third wave isn't waiting for anyone.
