Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Part 2 of 100 Things. For those of you who've missed Part 1 (mainly dealing with the creation and sustaining of tension), you can find it here: http://www.wattpad.com/story/17586435-100-things-you-should-know-about-writing-part-1 Part 2 will mainly be about the craft of writing, or as I like to think about it, How to Be a Writer. I will however, veer off on tangents to answer questions or just because I want to, but I hope to be informative every time I do so. Cover image Copyright Misha Gerrick 2015 All Rights Reserved

Need help developing your skills, or just need to brush up on some tips when you are having writers' block? I use these techniques everyday when I write, right from my own store of private writer's cheat sheets. Also included are posts on creating query letters, synopses, pitches, and more. These posts will help you to focus your writing. That means you will be able to impress agents and publishers, or if you prefer the Indie route, improve your ability to attract and capture your audience as early as the book jacket blurb. Writing help from an English/Creative Writing major. This is practically a free writing class. It's full of useful writing tips and tricks that I've picked up in my writing career/common mistakes found while editing others' work. I hope you can find use out of this. I add to it every time I think of something else that beginners would find useful. These are in no particular order, so feel free to refer to the Table of Contents to skip to a topic that you're interested in. **I am currently working on rewriting and editing this into a real book, which I'll publish on Amazon** PS: I am rarely ever on Wattpad, so if you message me, I'm very unlikely to answer. I'm not ignoring you; I'm just not on here anymore. Please vote for this so more people will see it and be able to use this! Also, if you have any questions about writing, comment or message me and I'll help. I'll also add chapters at your request. If there's a particular aspect of writing you'd like advice on, I'll post it. It's marked as completed, but I add to it when I think of something else. "YOUR BOOK HELPED ME A LOT!!! THIS IS THE BEST BOOK FOR NEW WRITERS THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED ON WATTPAD" -dpe281 "This helps so much!! ^^ thank you thank you thank you!!" -Just_Katyftw "this was so useful thank you!" -Galaxysfaraway "That's so helpful! Thank you! :) " -fandomsmember Best Rating Yet: #2 in non-fiction!
