"How do you go about your day without falling apart? Tell me what you're doing to get through this, because I'm clearly doing it wrong." "There's no right or wrong way, Elena." He says. "No, there's only forever. That's why I need you to give me hope. Not even five minute's later and he heard Sam shouting for help. Then the sound of nurses and doctors running into the room and shouting, the sound of the defibrillator being charged up came next, but Tom knew it wouldn't help. He turned away as Dean and Karoline went running by to join Sam and Alayna to witness the scene. "It's our Dad! It's our dad!" That was Dean. Tom pressed his lips together into a tight line, raising his hand to cover his mouth as he heard the shock being administrated. Then everything went silent, and the whole world froze aground him. "Time of death -10:41 A.M." "Damn it." He muttered. "Damn it!" This time he nearly shouted it, kicking the wall beside him as he wiped the tear roughly from his cheek, before storming down the hall and out of the hospital. *** And we're back with book 2!! Dean grabs her hand and gently lets it go. "What? No, Dean-" "I am choosing to not have to think about how you must feel every time some ghost from my past comes into our life." Dean says. "I'm choosing to relieve you of having to defend me for every awful thing I've ever done." "Stop acting like I'm perfect. Dean, I've done horrible things, too." Elena says with a shaky voice. "You think I'm gonna stand here and judge you after I find out that you've been in Purgatory for a whole year?" "Stop defending me!" Dean yells and Elena jumps. "I won't change who I am. I can't... Sam and Elena ran as fast as they could. They both hoped they made it in time. She turned a corner and heard grunts, and began frantically running. When she made it, she saw him. Dean was on the ground, leaning against a wall. Metatron leaned over him with an Angel blade. "No!" Elena yells. But it was too late. Metatron grinned at her as he thrusted the blade into Dean's chest. An exasperated breath left Dean's lips. He turned to look at Elena, his face covered in blood. She ran to his side just as Metatron left. She held his head in her hands. "No." She says. Dean continued to stare. Elena knew what this meant. He was going to die. He tried to say something, but it wouldn't come out. "I love you." She tells him. Sam just watches the moment unfold. He smirks a little. "I-I..." He starts but Elena shushes him. "I know." She says. His eyes began to close and she felt tears streaming down her face. Sam, frozen, finally made his way to them. He pushes Elena away, for her own protection. Elena backs away against a wall as Sam placed a cloth over Dean's chest. After that, she couldn't hear anymore. She couldn't see anymore. "Please don't leave me." Elena manages to say, tears overwhelming her now. Dean looks over at her again. She couldn't live without him. » It's been days since the Trials and it has put Sam in the hospital. Dean has no idea what he's going to do, so he enlists the help of an angel Ezekiel. To make matters worse, Elena and her boyfriend are intruding on Dean's life. And he doesn't like it. [Book 4 of 14] {Completed} "Dean is alive." They were only three words. Three simple words, but the effect they had on her was anything, but simple. Her voice caught in her throat at just the sound of his name. She inhaled sharply, almost forgetting how to do even that, "What?" "I raised him from perdition and he asked me to bring you to him," He raised two fingers, reaching out to touch her forehead, but she ducked under his hand quickly and spun so her back was to the door to her room and he was standing across from her on the sidewalk. "Perdition, like Hell?" She asked, but continued before he could give an answer. "You saved him? Like, he's alive and walking on the earth, right now?" It was silent for a moment and he looked at her expectantly. "Are you going to let me speak now?" "What are you?" "I'm an Angel of the Lord." He said and Karoline shook her head, letting out a humorless laugh. "Okay..." Her laughter slowly died when he just looked at her confused. "You're being serious." "Why would I joke about this?" He asked, his serious, confused face never changing. She opened her mouth to respond, but no words came out, "You're crazy."
