In the time between the end of the series and the revival's release, I imagined things to have worked out differently for our girls. These were my thoughts on what could have happened. The first couple chapters give Lorelai her happy ending, then the focus moves to Rory.

Rory graduated Yale and went on the campaign trail following Barrack Obama. But then her life didn't proceed the way she had dreamed and planned.
