HIGHEST RANK- #1 in Crush #2 in Paranormal For a moment he just sits there watching me with amused eyes, a smirk playing on his lips. Suddenly he stands up and walks forward until he's only inches from my body. Our faces so close that I can actually see the small sliver flecks in his eyes as they shimmer. "Wha-what are you doing?" I stutter my voice coming out as a breathless whisper. He breathes out. His breath fanning across my face, it smells of peppermint with a hint of orange. I shiver at the feeling. Sending a sensation that's equally as phenomenal as it is terrifying down my body. He leans in just a little closer so that our noses are almost touching. I stare up into his eyes, unsure of what to do. I feel frozen in place, like I can't move, like maybe I don't want to. "Time to seal it with a kiss" he suggests with a smirk. 🔹🔹🔹 Bethany Hibbler has a secret that she has kept from everyone. For 17 years Bethany has never told anybody that she can read minds. But then there's a new guy in school, he's arrogant, rude, egotistical, easily angered, and completely hot-he's Jake Lester. Before, Beth never believed in the paranormal world, but the word impossible seems all too possible when Jake arrives. This book is full of mind reading, a new set of vocabulary words, including: Book of Sacrimboniamat, The world of Eribiss, Eron, & Necrif, a lot of mistakes on Beth's part, some paranormal weirdness, confusion, palm facing stupidity, sarcasm, embarrassing moments, and a whole lot of comebacks. ➖➖ "Oh my freaking God such a good book! Girl you better keep writing this is aw-mase-ing"-@pinklady7777777 "I'm so excited, can't wait for more. I love this book so much, it's so interesting and totally the kind of book I read. 😊😍 U are an amazing writer 😘"-@Happyloner2004 "Honestly, this is one of the most amazing stories I've ever read!!! Wonderful story plot and the characters are equally amazing! Keep the creative juices flowing"

[COMPLETED, 18+) ''Let's get one thing straight.'' His tone was as stern as his grip. ''We don't make idle threats. No need to.'' The harsh stare slid down to her mouth. ''We take what we want.'' In the deteriorating Southeast district of Los Angeles, police struggle to control the ongoing success of a notorious crime family. One cop stands out among the rest, her integrity the defining line between law and corruption. But when passions flare, lines are often crossed . . . Lieutenant Virginia Robins has been waging war on organized crime for nearly ten years, hell-bent on shutting the Chilvati family down, one arrest at a time if necessary. Now the fight turns personal after her partner is killed in a suspicious fire and rumors spread about his possible link to the family. No longer willing to play by the rules, Virginia sets her sights on the man she believes is responsible, a man most people respectfully fear. Consumed by the need to clear her partner's name, solving his case is all she cares about--until the day her daughter is taken. Mark Spinelli is well-known for his quick temper and womanizing ways, although the true fame comes with the ruthless occupation. As underboss of the powerful Chilvati family, he trusts no one outside of the few loyal men sworn to protect him. Still, he can't help but admire the determination of the irate beauty who insists on sticking her investigative nose where it doesn't belong. And on the day she needs a hero, Mark shocks everybody, including himself, when he becomes one. Virginia finds herself captivated by the mysterious, intimidating man who won't talk about his past, and she puts her heart, career, and life at risk when she takes that next step, into his arms, into his dark world. In every stupid and cliché teen fiction story, there's always the blonde cheerleader that people think is a complete bitch and acts as the sinister antagonist of the story. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm that blonde cheerleader that people think is a complete bitch and acts as the sinister antagonist of the story. Is it my fault that I was born with this hair color or with the blue eyes? Is it my fault that I worked hard to be the leader of the cheer team? And how come there's always this goody-two-shoes who comes in and rains on my parade? Let's list off the criteria: Blonde? Obviously. Blue eyes? Like, as you say, "a reflection of the ocean" Cheerleader? Complete with the uniform. Bimbo? My grades beg to differ. A bitch? I'm not even going to deny it. Antagonist? Well, I'll let you be the judge of that.

Five-year-old Kendall Frodell is a genius and has been ever since she was born. The fact that she can and does read high school material, can mentally solve a wide array of equations, and has an incredible memory for trivia could've all easily skipped her from Kindergarten to fifth grade. But Kenny's intelligence (along with her voice) hides behind vague, situation-based index cards and rewritten answers. Things quickly change when she becomes afflicted with peculiar fainting spells-- ones where she walks, writes, and even solves equations while seemingly unconscious. Her erudition is unwillingly revealed, and she's whisked off to an academy for people like her. Very suddenly becoming aware of a whole society of gifted children, school has never been more challenging. An enforced social hierarchy, infamously harsh teachers, blockheaded children-- and the brief disappearances of her classmates only add to everything. In the style of both Ender's Game and the X-Men, The Prodigies is a piece of speculative fiction that will leave you...curious. Highest Ranking: #2 in Science Fiction [©2017-2018.
