A Boston University English student, Liese Haines, decides to write about her junior year of high school back in Texas by writing about her alter-ego character, Leigh Hayes. By creating "Leigh", Liese is able to anonymously confront tough emotions she'd been withholding. This is Liese's story of how she learned to set herself free, with a little help of course.
