Dash wasn't making things easy on Danny either. Danny feels like everything is hopeless, his parents won't accept him in his human form and he knows they'd never accept his ghost form. Danny also knows Dash couldn't possibly love him or could he? Sam and Tucker often try to cheer up Danny and help him but Danny closes himself off to people. Danny starts becoming depressed and even harms himself on some occasions. Danny is very devastated when he learns Dash is back together with Paulina and things take a turn for the worse.
