Elijah is a typical guy, nothing special. But, here's the thing, he was born a girl named Stephanie. He just came out to his family, and though his family is supportive, his peers in school have become increasingly hostile. To make things worse, Elijah's crush is dating the meathead jock that makes it his hobby to shove Elijah into the nearest walls and lockers. Getting through every day is hard enough, but when he crush starts to show interest in him, things really get complicated.

His mother is an abusive alcoholic and his dad left him before he was born. Will he find someone who cares? Will his mother change?
