It was only 50 days, she would tell herself. It can't be that bad right? Well it was. Sadie Burns was your typical bad girl. Leather jacket, combat boots, and different colored hair every 2 weeks. I slowly open my eyes, blinking a few times. I look around me. It’s pitch black, and I see a guy in front of me. The weird thing is, he’s wearing a blindingly bright white shirt, and grey/white pants. He crouches down by me. “Shhh,” he soothes me. “I won’t hurt you.” He says, as if speaking to a wild animal that’s not trusting him. “Who are you?” I manage to say. “You’ll find out eventually,” he says. Even though it’s dark, I can still see his piercing green eyes.

The dreams came slowly at first, only appearing every once and a while. Then, as time passed, they occurred more and more frequently. Before she knew it, Avalon was having nightmares every night. Sometimes they were terrifying. Sometimes they were just creepy. But, the only thing that she really noticed was that he was in them. He was a stranger to her. But, somehow she felt connected to him. She felt like there was a reason that he kept appearing in her dreams. But what was it? Little did she know, they had been warnings for the life threatening events that she would face. It wasn't her fate to be in the middle of these frightening incidents. It wasn't her fate to die... yet.
