Gardenia and Kurt were childhood friends, painfully close, saliva close, in fact once they cut their fingers when their mothers weren't looking and swirled them together, therefore binding them by blood. The seventies didn't exactly warn of blood borne diseases, so they were siblings even. But when the feelings grow to be more as they grow older, will they be able to handle it?

Brittany and Krist have been neighbours since he moved to Aberdeen. She's also friend's with Krist bandmate Kurt. After Brittany's parents passed away, Krist and Kurt became her family and are overly protective of her. The boys have a band called Nirvana and they just got a new drummer, Dave Grohl. On the night Brittany and Dave meet, Kurt meets Courtney. The two girls quickly become friends as Dave and Brittany start getting involved. Krist and Kurt both tell Dave Brittany's not worth his time. Krist doesn't like when Brittany tells him she likes Dave as much as he likes her and tries to keep them apart as much as he can.
