After the events of Thanos and undoing the snap, Tony is trying to create a working relationship with Stephen Strange. Reluctant, Stephen agrees, knowing the advantages of working with the Avengers. As time goes on, both are plagued by the idea that their friendship could mean...something more. Neither believing the other could be interested romantically, they form a friendship with benefits, inadvertently hurting the other as they go.

A year after defeating Thanos, Tony and Stephen have bonded over their biweekly movie evenings, and Tony finds himself perplexed at how easy their friendship is, how easy it is to have feelings for someone he hasn't known that long. As he's wandering around the Sanctum, Tony finds himself drawn to one of the artefacts, despite being told countless times not to touch them. He never listens.

When Stephen gets invited to go back and give the speech he was meant to before his accident, he's touched, excited but also conflicted. His ex-boyfriend, Nicodemus West will also be in attendance and Stephen doesn't want to go to the event and give him the satisfaction of knowing Stephen is still single, that he still hasn't found anyone to love. Thankfully, his close friend Tony Stark is willing to act as his boyfriend for the night, allowing Stephen to save face. What Stephen didn't realise was just how easy pretence could morph into reality. Spending the evening with Tony as his boyfriend makes the sorcerer wish he could be for real.

Trapped in a flying doughnut with Stephen Strange, Tony Stark is desperately trying to think of a way to save the universe, keep Peter safe, and not reveal a secret he's been keeping since he was a child. The answer is simple. Destroy the Time Stone. No Infinity Stone, no end of life as they know it. Things are never that easy. Inadvertently creating a time loop, Stephen is stuck bouncing between the past and the present on the Q-Ship, tethered to a child as he watches him grow up.

He could use the distraction from the shambles of his life. The breakup with Pepper, his mind plagued with nightmares and self-doubts... his growing infatuation with Stephen Strange. Stephen never told Tony exactly how he saved his life in the aftermath of Thanos's destruction. He never broke rules, especially ones pertaining to natural law. Except...he couldn't stand by and watch the man he'd fallen in love with over countless timelines die. Now, despite their obvious feelings for each other, he's too scared of telling Tony exactly how he'd saved his life. Now he has to watch the man he loves fall in love with another. Loki is trying to carve a new life for himself on Midgard, untrusted by his people and those of the planet which offers him sanctuary. When he learns that Tony Stark knew of Thanos's manipulations involving the Sceptre, they strike up a friendship, leading to an aching fondness and affection for the mortal. Then Stephen Strange warned him away. Loki always wanted things he couldn't have.

After Thanos snaps half of the universe out of existence, Tony is grieving but his brain still won't stop asking questions. Like why on Earth did Loki leave Thor a stone covered in runes that looks suspiciously like a puzzle? He soon finds out that inside that little puzzle, the God of Lies left behind the truth. When Loki turns Jötunn Frigga rushes to his cell, finally able to set eyes on her son once more. She finds Loki in labour.

Tony Stark visits a distraught Loki in his glass prison and is shocked at what he finds. Can it be possible that Loki never meant for it to turn out like this? Aunt May dies of a heart attack and leaves Peter completely alone. That is until some research is done on Peter's ancestors. It turns out Peter is the great-grandson of Steve Rogers. Peter moves into Avengers Tower with Steve. Will he be able to keep Spider-Man a secret? (I don't own cover)
