Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before. She held me steady against the wall , tears in her eyes. I've never seen her like this. "I hated myself for so long. You have no idea how I fe-" "Yes I do ! I loved you just as much. Just as much!"I cried as I pushed her away. She did this. I sobbed hard and stopped trying to push her away , laying my head on her firm chest. I cried harder when she wrapped her arms around me. After what seemed like forever I stopped crying . She looked down at me and wiped the tears with her thumb still holding me with her right arm. I've missed her so much. I looked into her eyes and captured her gaze. Then I looked at her lips unconsciously leaning in. She mimicked my actions and her full lips crashed onto my own. I could feel the hurt and passion in it from all these years making a tear escape my eyes. She picked me up and instinctively I wrapped my arms and legs around her. She wasted no times in kissing me and we were now making out. Blindly finding our way to her bed.
