Iris is a polar bear shape shifter. Her whole life she has lived with her parents in the Arctic, being bear shifters they prefer to be solitary, but when her parents die, it's all going to change. Iris, following her mothers dying wish, joins a pack. Although it's strange at first she learns to love it, makes some really great friends, and might even find her mate. But nothing can last forever and Iris must decide, with a looming threat moving closer, if she's going to leave pack life behind and once more live a solitary life, or stand and fight for her new home.
