Claudette je dcera šlechtice, muže který se z mladické nerozvážnosti dostal do konfliktu se sousední mocností a situace se zdála tak bezvýchodná, že požádal o pomoc Rothbarda, čaroděje ze severu. Ten mu pomůže, ale pouze pod podmínkou, že si bude moct vzít jednu z jeho dcer. Uběhla spousta let a na slib se skoro zapomnělo. Když si však Rothbard přijde pro Claudettinu mladší sestru, dívka se vzepře a aby ji zachránila, sama s černokněžníkem odejde. A tak se Claudette dostává do světa, který nechápe, s mužem, jehož srdce je vystavené pod skleněným poklopem v jeho pracovně. Palác pod vodou a kletba, která jí nedovoluje opustit budovu bez toho, aniž by se proměnila v labuť. Existuje vůbec možnost úniku?

Démonologie a vše kolem ní, není to téma pro hodně mladé, takže být vámi tak se nad tím alespoň zamýšlím.
