Stiles and Derek were best friends before the Hale House fire that burned most of his family alive, leaving only Derek and Laura to move as far from Beacon Hills as possible. Derek returns out of the blue, senior year, with a grudge against Stiles. Stiles fights to get his old best friend back, uncovering a few of Derek's secrets along the way.

Why is Derek hale suddenly protective over Stiles? Stiles notices some changes in Derek, he's more protective and more clingy to him than usual. Why is he like this? What happens when secrets are revealed?

"Look, I know you probably have very strong intentions right now of murdering me and hiding the body, but I would really appreciate it, if you didn't." No response. Just those bright red eyes staring back at me. "Derek? I'm serious. I'm gonna be so pissed if you kill me." God, I'm an idiot. The eyes start getting closer so I automatically start backing up. "Please, let's just talk about this... I would really like to keep all my limbs attached to my body here." Bump. There's the wall. I feel my hands out behind me, trying to find a way around it as the eyes get closer. And closer. Until he gets close enough that I can see his face, hear his breathing, and smell his aftershave. He steps right up in front of me, pinning me against the wall with his arms. He looks seriously pissed. And then I didn't anticipate what he said next. "What are you doing to me Stiles" Not my story! Stiles makes the first move on his brooding alpha. Their relationship was non existent, and then suddenly there. It causes problems, and on top of that is their battle with other supernatural creatures and hiding the secret from their pack. P.s I have written three descriptions now and they just keep disappearing. I'm pretty sure they keep getting worse.

in this story Derek's family are still alive, so is stiles mum, scott had been bitten by a rogue alpha and derek has been secretly helping them try and capture this alpha thats beens causing havoc in their little town of beacon hills after finding the 2 in the beacon hills preserve the day after scott was bitten, in retern of helping derek find the alpha derek was helping scott with his shifting. Derek is also a new teacher at the school, and for some reason he ends up likig this annoying kid that uses sarcasm and a baseball bat as his defence, and often finds himself protecting Stiles from most of the danger that is happening in beacon hills
