Never trust a fae. Never give them your name. Never fall for their tricks. Three simple rules that Enid should have followed, three simple rules that she forgot. In the remote Welsh mountain village of Aethelney, Faeries are real. But unlike tradition, the Fae Folk are dark creatures that lure young children away into the forest, never to be seen again. The children of Aethelney are taught three rules to survive: never trust a Fae, never give them your name, and never fall for their tricks. When Enid's sister is kidnapped, she meets Aneurin: who will make her forget all of the rules she was ever taught to follow. Cover credit: Aciddaisies_

It was a time of change. An era of revolutions and overthrows; of secessions and unifications. A time of recessions and elections and bloody beautiful football. Electronic music and boy bands, zombies and the coming of winter. The time of dystopian worlds and SickLit novels that aimed to be 'Okay? Okay.' The age of reboots and remakes and high functioning sociopaths. There was a Doctor with a bow tie and a Doctor without a bow tie and two incredibly awesome brothers with a pet Angel. The age of rights and discrimination. Of terror and happiness; oppression and liberty. An age of fear and an age of hope. And it was in this time that I started 11th grade. I traveled to Rome with a broken heart, only to leave it somewhere underneath a thunderstorm behind the Vatican. This is the story of my trip to Rome-a trip that filled my life with colors I didn't know existed and songs that could only be heard by my heart. As The Great Sickness threatens the country, Princess Daaé becomes Commander of the King's Army and her polished life comes to a halt. Pens are replaced with swords, embroidery needles with arrows, and poetry lessons with battle horses. Years later, she meets a man who tells her that she contains an ancient secret that will forever change the way she thinks, loves and fights. "Every Warrior of the Light has felt afraid of going into battle. Every Warrior of the Light has, at some point, lied or betrayed someone. Every Warrior of the Light has trodden a path that was not hers. Every Warrior of the Light has suffered for the most trivial reasons. Every Warrior of the Light has, at least one, believed she was not a Warrior of the Light. Every Warrior of the Light has failed in her duties. Every Warrior of the Light has said 'yes' when she wanted to say 'no'. Every Warrior of the Light has hurt someone she loved. This is why she is a Warrior of the Light - because she has been through all this and yes has never lost hope of being better than she is." - Paulo Coolho Awards Honorable Mention in The Genre Awards Cover credit to LongDreams

Severus Snape: one of the most despised Hogwarts Teachers; the Head of Slytherin House and The Potions Master. Rude, snarky, and generally cold-hearted, it's not a wonder why people don't like him. At least, that's what everyone says. Except perhaps you. ............................. Hey guys! Harry Potter (the entire series and movies and any other publication of any kind) doesn't belong to me. The picture on the cover doesn't belong to me either. I just write fanfictions. This is my first time going public and writing to an audience. I will attempt to write at a continuous rate, because like you, I like a good story and cannot wait for the next chapter. I will be waiting for a good amount of comments/votes/anything really to continue. And I promise: I will finish this one. Best of luck.
