COMPLETED. "Look, if you're-" "Shut up." I was taken back at the sudden manner in which he spoke to me. "Let's get something straight Miss Greene, I don't appreciate people talking back at me. And quite frankly, you're crossing your limit with me and my patience with you. So from now on, as long as you're with me you'll do as I say. Understood?" _____________________________________________ Mystery. Romance. Deception. You know what they say, hate is a strong emotion- so is love. You can only hate someone you place in high esteem since you care about what they think. When Juliet Greene secures an internship position at the Empire Heights hotel, and things seem to be finally going her way, a brief encounter causes her life to turn upside down. Getting in the way of the hostile, unfeeling, yet wickedly magnetic billionaire Adrian Vandermir, Julie suddenly gets thrown into a situation that's too much for her to handle. Wanting to have little to do with this and the infuriating Vandermir, she none the less convinces herself that his decisions would be best for her family's own safety. But when things begin to get out of hand, she discovers that she has more to do with the dangerous situation Adrian is involved in than she or anyone else could ever imagine. In the hopes of ending the matter, both must endure each other's company as they take a trip together which reveals unbearable past secrets and irresistible desires. Desires that Julie fears would only deepen her wounds, but somehow heal Adrian's. BONUS CHAPTERS available on my blog (link in my bio)

👻 Published and Posting! 👻 The things I see aren't for the faint of heart. And I am no longer willing to ignore them. Not even when my family, and my best friend, tell me to keep quiet about what's happening. They say people will think I'm crazy. Maybe I am. But the spirit haunting my professor's house is definitely trying to tell me something, and I'm the only one who can see it. The one person who can help me is my best friend's brother. But I don't know if I can trust him or his friends. Or if I can step outside the protective bubble I've built around myself. At this point it's a toss up: the ghosts will kill me or my panic attacks will. Either way, I figure I'm going to die. •☆• Updated biweekly or weekly, depending. This is the rough draft. Tabitha and her mother think they have found themselves the perfect place to live: an extremely affordable mansion in a small town far away from Tabitha's father, a monster of a human being. However, if something seems too perfect to be true, it probably is. Tabitha meets a strange boy named Elias, a boy she finds hanging around on the mansion grounds. That's when Tabitha's life becomes rather peculiar, and she is forced into discovering some things she may have been better off never knowing. Our protagonist is thrown into a world of self discovery: a completely new world she never thought could really exist; a place where she must face her greatest fears, and unearth the bravery she never knew she had. Filled with terror, trying to muster unknown courage and motivated by the strength of young, fresh love and goodwill, Tabitha embarks on a journey like no other. It's been on National TV. The obsession of the local newspaper. Fear in every resident's heart that compels them to lock their doors at night and to keep the dog loose. To never stay out past eight, or dark. The first body they found was of a young woman by the name of Kiera D. Reveille. It wasn't hidden, instead it was left on display outside the theatre where she worked. The local authorities thought it might be a crime of passion, although two weeks later - completely unrelated to their knowledge the editor of the Local Newspaper was hung by his tie from a light pole in Centre Square; in front of The Gazette's building. Nobody thought to link the two. After all; even though Cedar City is medium sized - it's not crime ridden, but sometimes violent things happen. Right? Three weeks after Kiera's body was found, a third body was put on display in the school yard. It belonged to P.E. and High School Football Coach; Sean Cole. He was found on the Football Field of the local High School, where there were mutilations on the body which were just as precise as the ones from the previous murders. With no suspects in line, the media pressuring, and locals terrified to go out after dark on their own, the Authorities are scrambling for answers. It was the fourth victim that left the city shaken to it's core. Detective John Rogers; whose dismembered parts decorated his car with a message in blood written on the hood. It was a warning. Will you heed it?
