Jasiri (Jase) Woods is a 16 year old boy who must learn how to be a young king in a modernized world where the Black Panther hasn't been seen or heard from in years. Being the next incarnate of one of the greatest warriors in history is one thing, but knowing that it's his destiny to protect a whole entire city on his own is another. Ben Jackson is the Spyder. This story will cover three arcs about a famous superhero whose been saving the streets of Cleveland for almost six years and discovering the secrets of his life. He's kept his life balanced to a degree as much as he could but now things will start to get complicated. As our hero starts to plan out his life post high school, new threats rise and cause chaos amongst the city in addition to the other layers of problems he has. Ben will find himself between a rock and a hard place; He'll have to work on the wrong side of the law and sacrifice his personal relationships all to save his city.
