When Connor met eyes with the female deviant across the fence, he had felt a great disturbance by what he saw. The female deviant had eyes that spoke volumes of pain and still left much unsaid. He had never seen an android look so . . . human. But he was far more disturbed about why he kept remembering that one particular deviant over and over again even after she was long gone. A Connor/Kara fanfiction, with a lot more interactions than the two (as far as I know) interactions they had. The story will follow the storyline of the game. Major deviation.

As fate would have it, that Deviant happened to live near Todd, the abusive owner of Kara. Todd's violent outbursts had become worse and worse, with his addiction to Red Ice being stronger than ever, and the fact that Alice had gone missing. Connor was chasing the deviant before Kara was thrown out of the top level roof and fell before him, badly damaged. Connor will start to experience that his eventual attraction to Kara will go far beyond his programming.
