Alexander Hamilton seemed to be the happiest person alive. He lived with his two best friends and his boyfriend John Laurens. His college career was going swimmingly, and academically he was extremely gifted. His life seemed to be perfect. Until a car crashed ripped it apart. John was taken from him, and his life is falling to pieces, and all Alexander needs is someone to pick the pieces up and glue them together. Alexander expected it would be anyone but Thomas Jefferson, the man he despised since he met him. But life comes with surprises, and Alexander's biggest surprise was falling in love with the magenta-clad snob. I'm sorry did I say biggest? I meant worst.

After life threw Alexander around for years, things finally started settling down. He had a loving family, an education, and caring friends. A home. But of course, the world isn't quite done with him just yet. When he starts talking to John Laurens, supposedly bratty, snobbish, rich John Laurens, and finds out that what people say about him are nothing but myths he finds himself tangled on a secret friendship which eventually morphs, quite accidentally, into something more with the South Carolinian. He can't let people know about them, especially not his lovable but oh so overbearing brother Lafayette. It gets even worse when feelings are thrown into the picture. But whatever, what Lafayette doesn't know won't hurt him, right?

Alex never imagined he will ever been evolved in that situation. It was already difficult to been in a "weird" relationship, being born in the wrong body and being an immigrant. But somehow, he managed to deal with those problems. Until, one day, he took a test after being "sick" for a couple of weeks. Everything has been a downhill since the test came out positive.

Desperate to escape back to the ocean, he tries to seduce his caretaker, Thomas, into helping him. But for some reason, he is immune to his influence. Despite this, Alexander finds himself falling for the human. -I love this au but there's not many fics about it so I've decided to write one myself.
