Thomas, a sixteen-year-old boy who tried to rob a retirement home because what he said was the voices who told him to do so. Of course, no one believed him, and his parents sent him to "Safe Haven mental hospital". At Safe Haven, a seventeen-year-old boy named Newt lives, unable to figure out why he's there. What will happen when two confused boys meet at a mental hospital? (Read at your own risk, drugs and other things may be mentioned.) Newt is a shy kid at school, and has never been considered "popular". Thomas has always been pretty well known and outgoing, and definitely loves having a lot of friends who are just as outgoing as he is. When Thomas and Newt finally cross paths, will they realize that there's not much different about them? Maybe even become friends, or closer?
